We’ve all been watching as the COVID-19 emergency unfolds in unpredictable and challenging ways. The Agricultural Alliance is very concerned about the impact on our farmers and food processors, many of whom may see their sales decrease significantly over the coming growing season.
The Alliance is coordinating with its member organisations to see if we can come up with a whole of island response to support our farmers and make sure they can keep producing and sell their produce to Saltspringers.
We’ll be holding a conference call with our member organisations on the 23rd March and will update after that, and will be providing regular updates on our website www.plantofarm.org
